The Ixia Dragonfly® denester uses a method of positively picking and placing the packaging, ensuring consistent control and accuracy of the packaging or product. The accuracy of placement at both low and high speeds enables the denester to be used for 'insertion and re-stacking' applications.
In conjunction with AEW, Ixia also manufacture a high speed 'Card' denest system which automatically places the cards at high speeds under the travelling product (Meat, Fish etc...) prior to final wrapping and sealing.
Gelagri [France], one of the leading suppliers of pre-packed vegetables, recently purchased several Ixia Dragonfly denesters for placing plastic twin pots directly into errected cartons at speeds of 60+ cartons per minute - Accuracy and consistency of placement and flexibility of packaging was vital to the success of the project. The decision to use Ixia's Dragonfly was based on extensive investigation and extensive trials - Once again, Ixia passed with flying colours................
